What role does Aptos play in the development and redefining of Web3 gaming for Eragon?
Eragon is currently built on Aptos blockchain network. The reason is: Firstly, Aptos is setting a new benchmark for blockchain speed, with sub-second finality times and consistently low, stable gas fees. In addition to its performance, Aptos is focused on mass adoption by addressing key challenges in bridging gaming and blockchain. Technologies like Keyless Accounts, Passkey, Randomness, Dynamic NFTs, and Composable NFTs help to close these gaps.

Recently, we have been focusing on the B2C phase and have built a significant gamer base. We are now ready to enter a new stage, shifting our focus to the B2B model. Currently, we are finalizing the Developer Portal, Marketplace, and especially Eraverse — a platform for developers, gamers, and investors. Our goal is to complete the Seed round of fundraising in Q4–2024 and list our token in Q1–2025 along with a full ecosystem.
Our plan to expand Eragon’s ecosystem focuses on some key directions. First, we aim to broaden the user funnel by tapping into the Web2 space through Erazone — a fun zone designed to capture a larger portion of the 3-billion-gamer market. Second, we are launching an incubation program to support other games, enhancing our B2B model and fostering a vibrant developer community. Lastly, we are building EraLay, a dedicated gaming layer on Aptos, helping to build more high-quality games to the Eragon platform and the Aptos ecosystem.
What advice would Eragon give to new projects or startups entering Web3, especially in the gaming sector?
Eragon advises new projects and startups to prioritize the user experience (UX) above all else. In Web3 gaming, it’s crucial to make onboarding as smooth as possible, ensuring that users can easily interact with the platform without needing extensive knowledge of blockchain. Startups should focus on building scalable infrastructure, integrating strong security protocols, and creating engaging gameplay that provides real value through tokenomics or NFT ownership.
